Externship Opportunity

You will be completing this Externship for USCE under the auspices of Dr. Uri Ben-Zur, a world renowned physician. This program provides a comprehensive clinical experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine, preparing you for a successful career in any medical or surgical field. 

We understand that costs for completing USCE in a location that is not home can be extremely costly. Our pricing INCLUDES a bed in a shared dorm house near the clinic, as well as a simple breakfast, and a lunch each day you are at the clinic. It is not mandatory to stay at the shared dorm house if you prefer other lodging arrangements, but there will be no discount in pricing should you not use it.

Traditional US Medical School Graduate

International Medical School Graduate
  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Medical Malpractice insurance for the duration of the Externship
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation from Physicians you have worked with

  • ECFMG Certificate with Validation date (if completed)
  • USMLE / COMLEX scores if any exams taken
  • Proficiency in written and oral English
  • Proficiency in additional languages a plus!
 

Cost of the Externship is $2000.00 USD per month. Minimum 2 months rotation would be a total of $4000.00 USD. 

Scholarships are available and solely granted on Merit demonstrated through the documents you provide to us. 

What is included in this Externship

  • Letter formally inviting you to our program to assist you in securing a temporary B1/B2 VISA to enter the United States.
  • We offer shared dorm-like housing at NO ADDITIONAL COST. This is first come, first serve basis. There is no guarantee you will have a private room. There are rules as well that need to be followed to stay at the student house.
    • Your stay is only for the duration of your externship. It cannot be extended since other students will be arriving for the next rotation.
    • NOTE: You are NOT required to stay at the student house. You can stay with family, AirBNB, or Hotel as well.
  • We will provide a simple breakfast, and a lunch for each day you are at the clinic. AT NO ADDITIONAL COST
  • A Letter of Recommendation at the completion of your externship is at the sole discretion of the Physician based on your performance.

Application Process

On a rolling enrollment basis, the Founder and Committee will be reviewing applications.  

Application Steps :

  1. Apply online and provide requested documentation. Upon submission you will receive an email with a link to schedule your initial interview.
  2. Initial interview : We will review the documents submitted and answer any questions you may have. At the end of the interview you will let the person know if you would like to continue in this process.
  3. If you choose to continue, another link will be emailed to you to schedule the second interview.
  4. Upon completion, the Founder and Committee will decided if your application is approved, and you will be notified.
  5. If you are accepted, a contract will be sent to you via email.
  6. Lastly, you will be emailed another link to schedule your internship.
 

*NOTE* To lock in your dates, full payment must be received 30 days before you are scheduled to begin your rotation. If it is not received prior to the 30 days, we will release your date slot reservation  to the waiting list. 

REFUNDS : 100% refund granted  greater than 30 days cancellation  : Less than 30 days before Externship begins, at the discretion of the Committee : NO Refunds granted if you have started your Externship.

Dr. Uri Ben-Zur is a Board Certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In addition, he has completed four fellowships in several different disciplines of Cardiology, giving him a wide breadth of knowledge. Because of his extensive experience and training, Dr. Ben-Zur is considered one of the best diagnosticians in the United States, if not in the world. He has a unique ability to see and understand the root cause of a patient’s ailment, allowing him to provide an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans. As a result, both patients and other doctors often seek out Dr. Ben-Zur for his expertise and knowledge in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions.
